seveninchmotto: ([neu] What is that?)

Room 301, Friday Afternoon

When Isabelle came back from a whole bunch of training, there was a bright orange post-it stuck to the frame of her and Raleigh's door. She raised an eyebrow at it as she yanked the door open, thinking it was for Raleigh. But nope, a closer look –– actually, the closer look was just confusing.

You already stopped to read this, so why not come in and claim a third floor chocolate coin?, the post-it read. Which made perfect sense. Except not.

"... Are we supposed to get chocolate coins?" Isabelle asked of no one in particular.

[ooc: Well the girl's basically standing in the hallway, so open, naturally!]

Sia was back on her way to her room, stopping when she saw Isabelle. Or heard her, mostly.

"Did you just ask your door a question?"

Sie peered at the note, frowning. "I don't suppose your roommate's trying to be friendly."

"It'd be a pretty sad prank," said Sia thoughtfully, like she knew a ton about pranks or something.

"Probably not misplace," Sia said. "Someone could have stuck it to the door randomly as they were walking by."

"It would have been nice, after mentioning it," Sia said. "Might be an excuse to raid a common room later."

"Probably fairly boring," Sia admitted. "Yourself?"
notconflicted: (oh?)

"So you either want to throttle him or you haven't seen him since?" she guessed.

"Are we?"

Celia's door was open across the hall, so naturally at the mention of chocolate she was going to poke her head out and investigate. "Says who?"

[identity profile] pasunereveuse.livejournal.com 2014-01-24 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well, that's unfair," Celia replied, frowning as she wandered over to look at the post-it. "Are they supposed to be in your room? Or the common room, maybe?"

Look, she'd go wherever she needed to if there was chocolate involved. Celia was dedicated.

"Is your roommate trying to be funny?" she suggested thoughtfully. "Or maybe someone else is trying to play a joke on you and make it so you feel obligated to ply the whole floor with treats?"

[identity profile] pasunereveuse.livejournal.com 2014-01-24 07:40 pm (UTC)(link)
"...because people would be disappointed?" Celia tried, shrugging. "I mean, I'll get my own chocolate, since I know you didn't put it up, but someone else might be horrifically disappointed and attempt to make you feel guilty."

[identity profile] pasunereveuse.livejournal.com 2014-01-24 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well, whoever put the note up is clearly very cruel, because now I'm disappointed about my lack of chocolate, too," Celia said with frown. "Do you recognize the penmanship?"

Celia leaned in to look at it, shaking her head. "Well, I didn't leave it, and I doubt it was Alana," she offered. "So there's two girls from this floor who didn't do it. Three, counting you. Maybe you ought to leave it up and see if anyone claims their handiwork?"
