Room 301, Tuesday After Classes

Things at the Institute had gotten a little more interesting again a few days agao. This owed mostly to Jace dragging a mundie girl back there after she'd been attacked by a demon. The very same girl who'd almost gotten him injured back at Pandemonium, no less. And now she'd been out cold in the Institute's infirmary for almost three days. It wasn't really a situation that needed Isabelle's presence, but she couldn't really stay away, either. So, even though she'd only arrived back on the island this morning, she was already packing for a portal back, after her classes.

The portal wouldn't even be picking her up too soon. She just had a lot of choices to make about what clothes to pack to take with her, since there was no telling whether she'd be back before her classes again next week.

Flick tossed her shirt away and his lips immediately found her shoulder, kissing and licking. He pushed the strap of her bra down to get at the skin entirely.

After a few moments of that, he bit down on that shoulder and stayed that way for a few seconds before releasing and licking her shoulder again.

Isabelle tilted her head the other way with a little sigh.

"You don't waste time, do you?"

Not an objection.

"I love your shoulders," he said, licking a path up her shoulder and towards her neck. "Can't help it. I just wanna bite them when you've got your shirt off."

Isabelle smirked. "Mmm. Sure you're not a vampire?" she teased, curling her fingers into his shirt for the time being. "I guess you'd draw blood more often if you were."

"Wouldn't you know if I was a vampire?" he asked, breathing against her ear before biting her earlobe. "That'd be quite the secret I'd been keeping all these months."

She gasped, then chuckled. Her voice stayed quiet for now. This was intimate. "Different worlds. You might have been a kind I haven't met yet."

Vampires from her world tended to burn in sunlight, yes.

"Mmm." He licked at her ear again, worrying the lobe between his teeth and breathing hotly against her ear. His hands were reaching for her waist. "I wonder..."

His fingers slid underneath her waistband. "Would you prefer if I was something like that? Something more than human?"

Curiosity. He traced the shell of her ear with his tongue and ran his nose down her neck.

Isabelle let her eyes close, and she shivered. Between the biting and the breathing and the nuzzling, that was kind of a given. "Vampires aren't more than human," she murmured, though. "If anything, they might be less than. They have a bit of demon in them."

His curiosity was getting met with semantics, at least for now.

"You know what I meant," Flick chided, kissing her cheek and then biting the spot where her neck met her shoulder. He pushed against her waistband a little harder now. "Smartass."

"I just don't consider vampires 'more than human'," Isabelle argued, even if it came out with a sigh, and she bit her lip. "They're demonic Downworlders. Are you trying to force my jeans down without undoing them?"

[flickofthewrist]

"You really don't want to answer the question," Flick said, pulling back and shaking his head at her. "That's an answer all in its own."

He kissed her lower lip and reached for the buttons on her jeans. "And no, I was just letting my intent be known."

"I think you're a special case," she murmured, "and I have no need for you to be anything you're not, especially since nothing but being a Shadowhunter would get you in my bedroom at home."

So there.

"And how am I a special case?" he had to wonder since that seemed to denote some sort of strings attached to him.

He unzipped her jeans and pushed a hand down the front, sliding down rather easily.

"You're a special case," she repeated, as she shifted a little. Just to make it that much easier for him to do what he was doing. "You're just about the only mundane I feel like dealing with on a regular basis."

[flickofthewrist]

"High praise," Flick murmured, sliding his fingers firmly over the front of her underwear and down between her legs. "How special am I?"

She thought she had a pretty good answer to that, actually. And she could give it to him while looking in is eyes, and also rolling her hips against his hand, just once.

"You were the only person I wanted to see while I was here."

That...was a really damn good answer. Flick took his hand out of her pants but only so he could shove her jeans down. He wanted them off right now. Right now.

Those words had flipped a switch in him and he just wanted to be all over her now.

Isabelle let out a little snicker, but decided to be helpful and strip the bra off herself, too.

"Right answer, hmm?"

"It was an answer I liked," Flick told her, pushing her jeans down and reaching for her underwear next. "I like that you wanted that. That you were thinking of me and wanted to see me. I like that I was on your mind."

"You were on my mind, baby," she purred as the bra fell on the floor. Her hands returned to his shirt then, but this time with the intention of getting it off him. Probably once he was done with her underwear. "Just you."

[flickofthewrist]

"Will I be on your mind when you leave?" he wondered, pushing her underwear down and immediately rubbing a hand between her legs. Make it hard for her to get his shirt off too quickly and all.

Hard twice over, because it wasn't getting past his arm and also, yes, the rubbing. Which got a little sound out of her. Like a little bit of amused pleasure. Her grip on his shirt remained firm, though.

"Yes."

[flickofthewrist]

"Good."

He moved his hand away and kissed her lightly.

"Do you want to hear something nice before we get dirty?"

"Always."

Because she was greedy. But she did give him a light kiss back, too.

"Okay."

He slid his hands down her bare arms and down to her hips. All that skin that he loved to put his lips against.

"The last time we talked, you said you watched me give my heart away. I wouldn't do that if I didn't think it was worth it, you know. If you didn't make me feel the way you do. If you didn't irritate me and charm me and make me hard and make me wanna cuddle. If it breaks, it breaks but I'll take the chance. I'll make the choice."

And then he kissed her lightly.
